Basketball Camp

Our Free State Camps Basketball Camp will blend summer camp style fun and hoops skill development in order to increase your camper's love for the game and keep them entertained through the week! Throughout our camp, there will be an emphasis on sportsmanship and camaraderie.  

Camp sessions are led by a veteran BCPS teacher and experienced travel & recreation basketball coach assisted by a recent high school basketball player(s) and are geared towards male and female athletes entering 4th - 8th grades. Through a variety of basketball drills and games, players will practice the techniques used in the sport, including: 

• Dribbling
• Defense
• Passing
• Endurance
• Shooting
• Agility
• Rebounding
• Teamwork

In addition to basketball skills development, your athlete can expect fun, non-basketball interactive style games and relay race competitions with prizes and an opportunity for students of all athletic levels to shine.
